The pools.

Had an awesome little break from Leeds. Spent most of my time in some of the most dodgiest places in Liverpool, ah well. The weather was terrible but had such a good time catching up with my aunt. A close family friend of mine took me to a pub (which typically enough had shootings the night before) and got drunk and decided to show me some of his old illustrative books. They were amazing and were pretty much done in his 20s, while under the influence of weed and drink. The photos do not do them justice.

I just love Illustration.

Looking through his Illustrations opened my mind to the many kind of Illustrative styles. When i Illustrate it tends to be planned or for a purpose, which doesn't leave me with sketchbooks filled with beautiful pages like the images above.

Then ventured off to Blackpool. Everything about Blackpool excites me. People say its cheap and tacky but i LOVE the place. It reminded me of all the summers my sister and i used to spend there, i don't know, just something about it makes me feel so relaxed. Was very good catching up with my Nanna. Decided to go into town and have a wonder, went to north pier. It was beautiful, i pretty much had the place to myself. While out on my dad trip i also managed to fall on a pram (that had a baby inside) and somehow managed to laugh when a man told me he was just looking at the prices of a hotel room so he could book us a night there. Went past a fortune teller, and thought i'd give it a go until i heard 'madam julie' bitching about a friend of hers. That did it for me. Professionalism out the window.

Peace and luff.
