Temple Newsam

Nicola and I decided to go to the Temple Newsam Farm. I had heard many things about it and thought it would be beneficial to attempt photography moving subjects. I had heard that Photographing animals can be quite challenging, it was indeed. I borrowed a lens from a friend which enabled me to zoom without frightening the animals which helped a great deal. It was frustrating at the beginning with the animals constantly moving but knew I had to have patience to get the shot I wanted.

I have wanted to give Animal photography a go for quite a while as I love animals! Went on the DSLR website (http://www.digitalslrphoto.com/) and found some inspiration to help me when I go to Temple Newsam.

I was happy with the result for a few images but feel that I could have used the Flash more. For the outdoor shots I stayed with the ISO of 100-200 with an aperture from F7-9. The more shaded the area, the higher I set my ISO.
